Our next stop after Biloxi was just west of Lafayette, LA. Between Baton Rouge and Lafayette is the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, the third longest bridge in the USA. Primarily as a driving break between Biloxi and Houston, we spent two nights at Frog City RV Park. The park got its name from the local town where a couple of brothers supplied bullfrogs to restaurants in New Orleans.

We took advantage of being near Avery Island to do a little factory touring at Tabasco. We enjoyed learning how the family-owned business got started and learning a bit about the process. You can smell the peppers in the air. A drive in the beautiful Jungle Gardens afterward is included in the tour price. Surprise! We spotted the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile headed for some Tabasco!
